I searched high and low for the story that inspired this image. I couldn't find it again so i'll give you the short synopsis:
Once a king was given a beautiful concubine as a gift from his mother. The king was immediately captured by her beauty and delicate form. The concubine could also sing and dance and was a truly enchanting lady. Unfortunately the concubine was not attracted to the King and entertained him in every way except sexually. The King was smitten and his denied advances only made him love her more. The Queen realizing that the concubine wasn't performing her duties immediately scolded and warned the concubine to sleep with the King or she would be executed. The concubine refused and the Queen Mother secretly had her murdered. Once the King found out he was so broken hearted that he eventually wasted away and died. It is said that he cried so much for his favored concubine that he created a pool of tears that still survives within the walls of the Forbidden City to this day. **** Daz products used: Aiko, Stephanie Petite, Kirei Na Kanjou, Iyeyasou's Tomb.
